Our college library: from 6,000 books in 1967 to 37,074 books today

When Edmonds Community College opened, the college librarian was hoping to have 8,500 books available for students at the start of fall quarter.

Today, in June 2012, the college library has 37,074 books and 12,568 e-books available.

There are also more than 20 full-text research databases that provide access to thousands of journal and newspaper articles; as well as databases containing art images or business, legal, and career resources.
