Service-learning students thank Snohomish County Public Works

Edmonds Community College's Center for Service-Learning honored Snohomish County Public Works as its Government Partner of the Year. College students and employees recognized nonprofits, businesses, and government agencies for their dedication and support of service-learning activities in June at an annual awards celebration.

Terri Wentworth-Davis accepted the award on behalf of Public Works.

Students in the college's Learn and Serve Environmental Anthropology Field School have assisted Public Works since 2010 with wildlife monitoring at sites including the Granite Falls Alternate Route wildlife crossing culvert.
