Apply now for Mukilteo Way Garden Club Horticulture Scholarship

The Mukilteo Way Garden Club offers a $750 horticulture scholarship for horticulture classes at Edmonds Community College.

Apply by Sept. 1.

The funds are raised from the Mukilteo Garden and Quilt Tour and other Garden Club activities.

The scholarship is for anyone currently working in the horticulture/landscape/landscape design field or for those interested in beginning a new path into these fields. Graduating high school seniors are welcome to apply.

Fall classes at Edmonds Community College start Sept. 24. 

Horticulture classes include: Fall Herbaceous Plants, HORT 213;  Plant Propagation, HORT 229; and Fruits and Nuts, HORT 247.

Evening classes include: Intro to Aboriculture, HORT  242; Restoration Horticulture, HORT 251; and Horticulture Business, HORT 269.
