Meet artist Daniel DeSiga the creator of a mural in Monroe Hall at a reception 3-5 p.m., Nov. 15 at Monroe Hall, Edmonds Community College. Get directions to campus. Free and open to the public.
DeSiga has created murals for government offices across Washington state including a piece at Edmonds Community College’s Monroe Hall. His artworks are informed by his Latino and Native American roots and contain colors and images of the Northwest and Southwest. He earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree at University of Washington.
DeSiga’s works have been shown at the Denver Art Museum, the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art and the Wight Art Gallery at the University of California.
His experience includes art production, gallery management, and graphic design. He creates commissioned work out of his studio in Dayton, Wash.
