Horrific Zombie Film Fest Oct. 30 at the college's Black Box Theatre

New this October 30, the Black Box Theatre at Edmonds Community College presents the Horrific Zombie Film Fest.

Showcasing finalists from the Bellingham film festival, Bleedingham, the Horrific Zombie Film Fest features short films that highlight the bloodcurdling creativity of Washington State filmmakers who specialize in the spooky. The films featured at the Black Box are the official selection from Bleedingham where Bloodies (trophies) are awarded by a panel of non-participating judges for Best Effects, Best Story, Best Sound Design, Best Cinematography, Best Editing, and Most Unique Film.

In partnership with the Washington State Studio Network, these films from Bellingham and beyond are guaranteed to thrill and chill. Films are suitable for ages 13 and up.

Showtimes: 2 p.m. and 4 p.m., Tues., Oct 30 at the Black Box Theatre. Tickets: $5 online or at the door.
